Having established that these fit the mouth perfectly, your dentist will provide you with the whitening material most suitable for your needs, alongside precise instructions. Your dentist will also advise on the need for following visits.
Having isolated the patient’s gums, the whitening material is applied and activated using the selected source depending on the chosen whitening method. The whitening results are instantly noticeable.
Following whitening at the clinic, the patient continues the treatment at home, using the special dentures mentioned above, for a predetermined period of time.

Some sensitivity may occur during whitening – this will go away after a few days. In the event of sensitivity, you must inform your dentist immediately so that he/she can modify the prescribed whitening scheme. The use of specialised desensitising gels, fluorine based pharmaceutics or toothpastes for sensitive teeth (saltpetre-based) can make the sensitivity go away. The sensitivity never persists after the completion of the whitening treatment.
